Story Telling About Camping

Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Good morning everybody!

How are you today?

Before I tell you a story, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is ….. I am from ……. School, grade ….

In this good occasion, I’d like to tell you a story about “Camping”

My beloved friends;

Before I tell you the story, I’d like to explain a little bit about camping.

Camping is a fun and a cheap activity. Why do I say so? It’s because we can do this activity anywhere and anytime without spending much money. We just need a tent, a mat, a blanket or a sleeping bed, and simple cooking sets that available at home. And also we just need a little food because we can find it in the nature around the camp site.

My beloved friends;

We can go camping on a lake side, on a beach, on a special camp site and even in a forest. I think forest is a good and a suitable place for camping, because it is a very natural place with fresh air and water, leafy trees, and hunted animals and fruits for meals.

Talking about camping, I had a nice experience.

Here is the story.

Two years ago, when I was in the fourth grade, my friends and I planned to spend our long holiday by camping. You know, after we had a long discussion, we decided to go camping just at school? We didn’t go camping near lake side or in the forest. You know why? It’s because we were still kids. We were too young to go camping far away.

My beloved friends;

Before we went camping, we prepared everything to bring. We had our own duties to bring something. Some of my friends had the duties to bring a stove, a teapot, a frying pan, glasses, spoons, forks, and so on. For me myself, I should bring a bucket. I was very happy, because it was a simple duty for me. For the tent itself, we used our school’s own.

My beloved friends;

In a nut shell, we came to the awaited time to go camping. We were very happy. In the campsite, we did many activities. We cooked by ourselves, had meal together, sang some cheerful songs, and in the night we lighted a campfire to make us warm. Besides, we did some challenging games like hide and seek, track game, and so on.

Oh, I almost forget to say that we spent three days for the camping.

My beloved friends and honorable the juries;

That’s my short story of my experience on camping.

As closing, I would like to say that camping is a very useful activity to build character, spiritual, physical, team work, independency, and so on.
